First voice contact with Lebanon

Last weekend, on 28 MHz, I made a first (Es) QSO with Lebanon. Walid, OD5ZZ gave a 599 to my call in USB. Via eQSL I received the confirmation of the contact yesterday.

    Hallo Ron, dat is een mooie DXCC en kaart. Ik heb diverse malen met OD gewerkt. Maar een QSL daar vandaan op eQSL heb ik volgens mij nog niet. 73, Bas

    OK Bas, ja dat is mooi aan eQSL; vaak erg snel je kaart. Jammer genoeg maakt niet elke zendamateur gebruik van deze service.

    Thanks for your comments Mike. It also has to do with luck; be on the radio at the right time and frequency when conditions occur; has not so much to do with operating practice...
